Same is the case in East India. As for the West probably 1% to 2% are not Aggarwal. On the other hand South India is different with the exception of Kerala where none of the local populace go by the name of Gupta. In Andhra Pradesh the ratio is 1:1 with the local Vaishnavs bearing the name Gupta. The same is seen in the regions of Karnataka and Tamilnadu bordering with Andhra Pradesh.&lt;/p&gt;
